Craigslist Troll, Jason Paul HunterA 13-year-old boy says he was sexually assaulted after he and a 15-year-old friend agreed to meet a 20-year-old “woman” whom they had contacted via Craigslist, the popular online advertising network. Things went horribly wrong, and Jason Paul Hunter, 32, was booked last Thursday into the Washoe County (Nevada) Jail on charges of sexual assault on a child, open and gross lewdness and using technology to lure a child.

In online conversations, the boy says the “woman” invited them to come party at what was purported to be a cousin’s home. One of the boys then asked his mother for a ride there, telling her it was a friend’s house. The mother dropped the boys off, without checking on the occupants. According to The Reno Gazette-Journal, the boys were allegedly plied with alcohol until both passed out on a bed. The 13-year-old told police that when he awoke, he found he was being sexually assaulted.

Less than a month ago, Katherine Ann Olson was lured to a Minnesota home on the pretext that a nanny job was available, only to become the first person known to have been murdered as the result of a Craigslist contact.
