Merry Christmas and Mahatma Gandhi

Medieval Angel Wishes You a Merry Christmas “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” So spoke Mahatma Gandhi of India, who introduced the 20th century to nonviolent civil disobedience later adopted by civil rights demonstrators in the 1960s.

Now, there’s some food for thought. Just think what the world would be like if we really tried to emulate Christ and his teachings. And as the angel heralds the birth of Christ in Bethlehem, so we welcome Christmas. We hope each and every one of our readers gets their heart’s desire this Christmas.

Read another inspiring story about a man who cared so much about common human decency and kindness that he gave up his powerful job rather than treat some people differently and was posthumously named Colorado’s “Person of the Century.”
